Paris Hotel Description
The Hotel Paris, built in 1904, is a significant, historical landmark, which retains the beauty and splendour of its original Art Nouveau style. The spacious lobby features marble floors, a grand staircase with a decorative cast-iron railing, and a quiet seating area accessible from the main reception area via a series of alcoves. There is also an old-fashioned wrought iron lift, adding to the 1920s feel of the property.
The 95 guestrooms are elegantly appointed and are decorated in a classical and elegant style featuring warm tones and bold prints. As you would expect from a hotel of this standard, each bedroom is equipped with mini bar, electronic safe, massage shower and hairdryer.
Named after the famous actress and singer, the "Sarah Bernhardt Restaurant" boasts a classic Art Nouveau interior and serves a gourmet French menu. The "Café de Paris" resembles the traditional cafés of Paris and offers guests a range of coffees and cakes.
Guests are welcome to make use of the spa facilities which include a small fitness room, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. Ayurvedic Massages are also available with prior booking.

Beautiful art deco hotel with great attention to detail in every fitting. Room lovely, breakfast delightful and chocolate cake and tea yummy. Disappointed not to eat in restaurant at night as it was booked out for private diners both nights of a weekend stay - feel that residents should have some priority.
Top Tip
Dali and Muscha exhibitions in Old Town Square were wonderful and lots of free concerts were on in various churches. Long queues at the Castle to be avoided. Public transport excellent.

We found the Bar area dissappointing, more a cafe style. The Breakfast was excellent.
